What I do?

 I will focus on developing skills that are fundamental in facilitating academic learning and enable your child to carry out their life roles to their maximum potential. To your child this will just be playing; with a very enthusiastic adult!

What services do I offer?

I provide initial assessment and consultation to establish your child's strengths and needs in relation to everyday activities. I will do this through a combination of play based activities, observations, discussions with parents and caregivers, as well as formal assessments where necessary. I place emphasis on individualised treatment based on your child's unique strengths, interests and needs.

Treatment options include;

 sessions with you and your child (single consultative session or block of sessions dependent on the needs of your child). Sessions may include parents, carers and/or school staff.

  1. Consultative sessions: Verbal and written advice outlining individualised programmes targeting your child's specific needs. Summary/detailed reports can be written on request.
  2. Therapy blocks: 8/10/12 weekly therapy sessions in environments familiar to your child, where strategies and skills learnt in therapy can be readily replicated by your child and those supporting them.
  3. Review sessions: to re-assess your child’s skills following a period of therapy.

Therapy sessions may involve parents, carers and/or school staff in line with your child's goals.

  •  Training for groups of parents and/or professionals can be arranged
